Why would this man make himself a National laughing-stock if it wasn't God's punishment?

David Morris, 60, accused of ually aulting a schoolgirl told a jury today: "It was a banana in my pocket." He said the 12-year-old could have mistaken the fruit for his as he sat next to her during an English lesson. A pastor, at Carmarthen Evangelical Church in west Wales, Morris said he was in the habit of putting a banana in his pocket and it was possible the youngster had accidentally felt it.
