Spirituality, Jesus can I believe what he said?

I don't consider myself in any religion. I am Spiritual, but I believe what Jesus said and that he tryed to make peace , and I think that Religion has made Jesus Christ cause War, because Jesus said even if a man critizises don't fight, argue etc. (those arn't the exact words but yeah). Religion is man-made and institutionalized through man. Spirituality lives only in you. Following man's law can deter you from God's, and that is the danger of religion. But I believe what Jesus said was right. Is this wrong to feel this way?
