Are the people who laugh at Mormon teachings (not Mormon people) justifiably called "bigots"?

When those people are being deliberately ignorant and wallowing in their own misconceptions, yes, that would be bigotry. People are allowed to disagree, but when someone makes an unfounded accusation, refuses to listen to those who would actually know the truth and then are determined to continue making those accusations, what else is it but bigotry? Bigotry is an irrational hatred, and that qualifies.
