Am i going bald..please help?

ok i know male pattern baldness is hereditary but recently my hair lines been receding and the thing is noooo one in my family is bald. can u just develop male pattern baldness or is it from stress or maybe its because i have long hair n i wear a pony tail alot idk i need help plus im only 18 like wtf help pleasee im a guy btw
