Why does he hate me because I hate her?

I ask this question like every single day. I really like this guy Kris and well he likes this other girl now or whatever and so she's not even nearly as pretty as me or talented as me in anything for that matter so my friends and I kinda tend to make fun of her and stuff. Sure she's sort of popular and we bump into each other at some parties but still not nearly as popular as me. He hates it when I bad mouth her which pisses me off because it's like HELLO earth to stupidness what you really want is standing right in front of you and WHAT you really need is me. Sigh boys are no fun when they're confused.
