What do u think on the current situation in sri lanka?

The current situation in Sri Lanka is dire. After a war that cost the lives of many there is no real peace. Instead Rajapaksa is out to eradicate any semblance of opposition to his dictatorial rule. The many Sri Lankans who had hoped to return are now choosing to stay in their countries of adoption because it will take too long for a return to the sort of Sri Lanka they had hoped to see. Meanwhile desperate Tamils are trying to get to Australia in leaky boats, only to be turned away as economic refugees. A sad situation in an uncaring world.
