The Weather Pattern From ElNino To LaNino?

Since we will be going into the LaNino weather pattern from the ElNino that we have had I cannot remember what the Winters are usually like when we are in a LaNino pattern. I love the cold and snow but not sure if you get more snow in the ElNino or the LaNino.I'm talking about the Great Lakes areas from Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Ind., and Pa .Thank You.
